SaaS platform for fleet management - Autium & Merixstudio
00:00 → 00:00
Hi.
00:00 → 00:03
My name is Andrew Wilson, and,
00:03 → 00:05
my product is Autium.
00:05 → 00:08
This is an insurance, and fleet management product,
00:08 → 00:11
that I've done with, Marek Studio.
00:11 → 00:13
We we spend a lot of time looking at developers,
00:13 → 00:16
we've actually gone through this process before and had
00:16 → 00:19
bad experiences with with developers.
00:19 → 00:23
And so we we went look globally, and Poland,
00:23 → 00:25
came up on the list.
00:25 → 00:28
And so Marek Studio reached out to us,
00:28 → 00:29
when we requested an RFP,
00:29 → 00:32
and basically they had the best pitch.
00:32 → 00:34
They they were very professional.
00:34 → 00:37
Every, every time we got into detail
00:37 → 00:41
about, certain parts of our, product,
00:41 → 00:45
they were very, very interested in in what we needed
00:45 → 00:49
and questioned why we did certain things and that
00:49 → 00:53
made us very attracted to their attention to detail and
00:53 → 00:54
the product itself.
00:54 → 00:58
The skills of the developers are very important
00:58 → 01:03
in the sense that we we want to make sure that the UI is
01:03 → 01:05
is is good and easy to use,
01:05 → 01:07
but we also need understanding from the developers.
01:07 → 01:11
And and business analysis and understanding is so
01:11 → 01:15
important to having the the product, you know,
01:15 → 01:17
really come out how you want it to.
01:17 → 01:19
We don't need them to understand something different
01:19 → 01:21
than we're trying to convey,
01:21 → 01:25
and I think that Merixstudio really did a great job of
01:25 → 01:26
understanding what we needed.
01:26 → 01:29
The workshop was really, really,
01:29 → 01:32
it it went really well, first of all.
01:33 → 01:37
We we have an idea that we wanted to convey to everyone,
01:37 → 01:40
and everyone in the workshop understood it from, you know,
01:40 → 01:43
front end developers, back end developers, project manager.
01:43 → 01:46
Everyone had was on the same page and understood everything,
01:46 → 01:48
after we got through our first day.
01:48 → 01:51
And by the second day, everyone seemed very,
01:51 → 01:54
very well versed in the entire project and how,
01:54 → 01:58
the big picture really needed to come out,
01:58 → 02:00
as far as the product goes.
