Full experience - Merixstudio & MNYMSTRS
00:04 → 00:08
I'm Roy Dunlop and I work at MNYMSTRS.
00:08 → 00:11
Our product is geared around financial education.
00:11 → 00:14
We have a platform that aims to
00:14 → 00:18
be a a way for people to learn about
00:18 → 00:21
finance in a very easy way in a in a guided manner.
00:21 → 00:24
Part of the the origin of the company comes from the fact
00:24 → 00:29
that our CEO came from Guatemala and he realized
00:29 → 00:30
that even, you know,
00:30 → 00:33
people who go to university will frequently not really
00:33 → 00:36
learn about basic personal finance.
00:36 → 00:40
When David started with the idea,
00:40 → 00:43
he already had quite a fully fledged kind of concept
00:43 → 00:45
of what did he what he wanted.
00:45 → 00:47
But largely, those were were wireframes.
00:47 → 00:50
The real designs came from from Merixstudio,
00:50 → 00:53
so they helped us a lot in terms of fleshing out the the
00:53 → 00:57
actual product and putting some sort of meat on the
00:57 → 00:58
shape that we had.
00:58 → 01:01
David investigated a lot of different development
01:01 → 01:05
possibilities and he had worked with some development houses previously.
01:05 → 01:08
So he had one in mind,
01:08 → 01:13
but he found that they were very expensive and particularly for
01:14 → 01:18
the initial phases where there was just discovery and and,
01:19 → 01:21
you know, trying to figure out how things were gonna work.
01:21 → 01:24
I think he shortlisted five or six different companies
01:24 → 01:27
and Merixstudio was the sort of leader in terms of
01:27 → 01:29
engagement and value as well.
01:29 → 01:31
Working with Merixstudio has been good.
01:31 → 01:35
They have talented staff, particularly during the
01:35 → 01:39
pandemic when it's been difficult to do things face to face.
01:39 → 01:42
We've still managed to work online successfully.
01:42 → 01:45
The overall cooperation has worked well.
01:45 → 01:47
There's a range of people to speak to at Ericsson,
01:47 → 01:49
so you get the the whole experience.
01:49 → 01:51
I mean, one of the things that I really like is,
01:51 → 01:54
particularly at the initial phases,
01:54 → 01:58
the the integration between UX design front end and back
01:58 → 02:03
end, and the fact that that team all works together and
02:03 → 02:07
I think that that gives a very nice complete
02:07 → 02:09
package in
02:09 → 02:14
terms of the overall app development and,
02:14 → 02:16
you know, what you get at the end of the day.
02:16 → 02:18
Happy to be working with Merixstudio.
