An application that facilitates travelling in Sweden - Merixstudio & Laja

00:00 → 00:03

My name is Anna Linton. And I am Lovisa Jacobsson.

00:03 → 00:07

And we're from Sweden and are developing a tool for

00:07 → 00:11

the Swedish tourists to plan and find a trip in Sweden.

00:11 → 00:14

We actually we're experienced designers,

00:14 → 00:16

so we usually

00:16 → 00:20

work very practically on our experiences.

00:20 → 00:25

And we started an Instagram account last May,

00:25 → 00:28

and almost one and a half months

00:28 → 00:31

ago, we just posted on Instagram that we have this ID

00:31 → 00:35

Roadshipper in Sweden, and we would would like to go from an

00:35 → 00:38

Instagram account into a digital platform.

00:38 → 00:41

But we didn't have any contacts in this field and didn't have

00:41 → 00:43

any experiences either.

00:43 → 00:47

And then there was a girl giving us some advices and

00:47 → 00:51

sharing her experiences working with a really good company

00:51 → 00:53

in Poland.

00:53 → 00:56

And we contacted a lot of companies in Sweden as well,

00:56 → 00:59

but then we in the first meeting

00:59 → 01:01

with with Merixstudio,

01:01 → 01:05

we got a lot of trust, and it was a really nice introduction.

01:05 → 01:08

And it ended up here in Poland.

01:08 → 01:12

We got a very big trust in the first meeting

01:12 → 01:16

on Zoom, and we got suggested to do a workshop here in

01:16 → 01:20

Poland with Merixstudio and a team with developers and

01:20 → 01:23

UX designers.

01:23 → 01:27

So we we I think Merixstudio built trust right

01:27 → 01:32

away, but then again, it's it's we had some fears

01:32 → 01:37

about, like, the language and also about

01:37 → 01:41

they don't know anything about the chores industry in Sweden,

01:41 → 01:42

so how will that be?

01:42 → 01:45

This is also a way to get to know each other.

01:45 → 01:49

And we also like the philosophy of the transparency

01:49 → 01:51

that we're doing this workshop for two days.

01:51 → 01:55

We own the ideas and we can do whatever we feel like.

01:55 → 01:58

We have focused a lot on the business model and that was

01:58 → 02:02

surprising, but also very, very good because without the

02:02 → 02:05

sustainable business model, the tool will never work.

02:05 → 02:10

So we're very grateful and thankful for the help of the business model.

Let's connect and build together
