- As you know, endorphins are a great tool when you want to feel good and healthy. Additionally, nobody can feel bad after helping a charity to support the people in need. That's why we decided to once again take part in the Business Run, thanks to what we were able to A) take care of our bodies, B) do something charitable, C) spend some quality time together.

Well, running is great and all that, but do you know what's better? Food and alcohol. ;) This month we decided to visit Ministerstwo Browaru, where we could drink delicious craft beer and eat tasty, greasy food! The party can be summarized with only one photo - just take a look at Miłosz's happy face! Maybe it was that six beer on the table that had something to do with his mood... However, he seemed fine the next day and to be fair you don't have to try very hard to make these guys laugh, so it probably was just a good company and a belly filled with food that made him this smiley. :)- Dev Day

- Developer day is an international holiday celebrated in many software houses all around the world on the 256th (hexadecimal 100th, or the 28th) day of each year - September 13 during common years and September 12 in leap ones. However, this common-leap year thing caused some commotion - nobody in the IT world was quite sure when we can celebrate and had to do the math to be sure. For this occasion our dining room turned into a kids party - there were balloons and sweets everywhere! To make it more professional, every balloon had a message written on, such as "Have you tried turning it off and on again" - turns out that IT Crowds was right (at least in some cases) when it comes to portraying an everyday life of IT people! :)

The lat day of September is celebrated in Poland as a Boy's Day, and our boys deserve some recognition! That's why when they came to work on Friday they found some little surprises on their desks - sweets and personalized messages of appreciation. They seemed to like those little notes especially, and fairly so - just take a guess how long it took to make one for every Guy in our office. :)- Keeping the atmosphere light
- Some mysterious messages bobbed up around our office. It turns out that some Merix folks are working naked today (sticky note on the door says 'Keep out! We're working naked!'). Uff, #itsgettinghotinhere! While in our kitchen, we can get a 'positive pig' (in #poland we say 'to put the pig under somebody' what means to do the dirty on sb). Everything thanks to the #book 'Zabaw się w biurze' which is a hilarious list of pranks. Everyone working in the office will tell you that a good atmosphere is a key to happy employees. That's when the book of office jokes came in handy and allowed us to spread a lot of cute little jokes all around the office. For all non-polish folks - the message on the photo says "Keep out! We're working naked!" (which luckily was not true, but made everyone double-check;)). In our kitchen was a "positive pig" for everyone to take (in Poland we say 'to put the pig under somebody,' which means to do the dirty on them). Just remember - jokes are not about showing people how smart you are, all you need to accomplish is to make someone smile :)- Gifts, gifts everywhere

You thought that I forgot about a #GeekShirtFriday? No way hose, especially this month, because Wiesiek underwent an evolution and now his color scheme is based on yellow. Apart from the obvious reasons, this photo is also interesting when you take a look at Wiesiek's desk - dude has two headphones and two keyboards. Maybe that's why he is so good at his job? Maciek and Anita came up with an idea for an Instagram in real life for people who don't have a habit of checking out our profile. They printed a lot of photos and posted them in the kitchen! Take a look also at the cute little notes written all over the blackboard! But luckily you don't have to visit our office to check out what we are up to - just visit us on Instagram or wait for the next summary of the month ;)
