Every time when a new problematic situation arises during developing a Django application, I try to figure out whether this problem has already been solved internally by Django or if there is some third-party package to fix it. Many times Django built-in mechanisms are sufficient, the easiest and are the best choice. From the other side, there are also plenty of situations when using the external library might be a better solution.
