At Merixstudio we strongly believe that together we can achieve much more than any of us can alone. We believe that we need each other's strengths and resources. This is why everyone counts for us, and we're building the place where everyone's ideas are valid. We're looking for inspirations, and Merix people is what inspires us. We want to meet them, and we want you to #MeetMerix as well.
If you notice rainbow spots somewhere, there's a strong likelihood that Patrycja was there before you. She's our PR&Marketing manager that loves magical unicorns and... the order. She surrounds herself with everything colourful and sparkly. Because she's well-organised, different (colourful) sticky notes and other things that help organise her whole life are what Patrycja likes. Just imagine how her desk looks like! But don't think that Patrycja is a weak and vulnerable girl with her head in the clouds who is chasing after unicorns. She's quite a tough lady in love with motorcycles, travel, cats and of course her husband that, by the way, she married in Las Vegas at first. Well-organised on the one hand, and crazy on the other! Meet Patrycja!
- Tell us something about yourself.
Professionally, I’ve been supporting enterprises and startups in development for over 7 years, implementing an innovative approach to marketing, PR, communications and employer branding.
Privately, I’m a motorcycle addict, runner, ‘TRX-er’, traveller. I pour my heart into work and passions, buzz with the positive attitude and search for inspirations.
- What are your main responsibilities at Merixstudio?
I’m a PR and Marketing Manager, so - generally speaking - I'm responsible for creating a positive image of a company internationally. To be more specific, I’m here to give added value both to our clients and employees.
- How do you work? What is important to you while working?
While working, I focus on turning on the “flow” mode. It’s a state of mind that’s inherent to all of us - the greatest productivity booster out there, better than any app or method. Practics would call it the key to ultimate productivity, increased work satisfaction, boosted creativity and, ultimately, personal and professional happiness. Last but not least - It’s also a very pleasurable state. You must try it!
- Tell us something about your beginnings in the company.
I joined Merixstudio Marketing team in late summer 2018, immediately after the Woodstock festival ended. I remember my first day very well as I was walking with crutches then (I broke my leg ). When I arrived at the office, all the necessary (and brand new) equipment was waiting for me on my desk. Natalia from HR team introduced me to Merixstudio team, showed me the nooks and crannies of the office and then we went for lunch. Thanks to such an excellent onboarding process, I felt the significant part of the company from the very first day.
When it comes to tasks, I got enough time to familiarise myself with the corporate structure and marketing challenges, and then, with the help of Anita and Aleksandra from PR team, I dived into the deep water.
- What have you learned while working in Merixstudio?
Giving things 100%. When it’s time to work, we work hard. When it’s time to have fun, we play hard :) At Merixstudio we follow the rule of getting things done. We’re linked here, so I’m aware that others folks wait for results of my work. It’s motivating me to do my best.
- What do you like about working at Merixstudio?
I really appreciate that the crucial decisions are made together. Our CEO always generates ideas and consults his plans with team leaders, who have a real influence on Merixstudio development strategy. This unwritten rule also applies to all teams within the company. What’s more, I resonate with the company’s culture which is built on strong values like trust, respect, responsibility, engagement and feedback. And wearing slippers at work in fantastic!
- What was the biggest challenge you faced while working at the Merixstudio?
The biggest yet the most fascinating challenge not only in Merixstudio but in the marketing field, in general, is multitasking. I need to stay on the ball, get many things done right away, think outside the box while creating new strategies - all at the same time. Prioritisation is a must. Some people would call me nuts, but the truth is… I like it.
- What cool things have you worked on at Merixstudio?
I work only on cool stuff here! I think that organising an event for over 100 people was the most breath-taking experience so far.

- What was your first contact with web technologies? When did you make a decision that you want to work in IT?
I’ve been working in the IT industry for over 6 years now, but I decided to jump into this domain much earlier. As far as I remember, I was always close to new technologies and innovations (my older brothers are both engineers). It seems that in my family we’ve always been attracted to IT.
- What do you think is most difficult (and most interesting) in your work as a PR Manager?
In the vast realm of IT, challenges are ever-changing. While working in the marketing team, you need to keep abreast of what’s going on. But being always up-to-date is just a tip of the iceberg. There’s always a lot on our plate: events to take part in and to organise, writing technical articles, managing the website, just to mention a few. That’s why we’re having a hectic week from time to time. In that business environment, you need to manage your time perfectly and be eager to do impossible things. It’s difficult yet very amusing.
- The first thing you do when you arrive at the office.
I turn off the music and shout “hi!” to everyone. Then I water my plants if needed.
- iOS or Android?
Whichever. A working mobile phone is enough for me.
- What do you do in your free time after work?
I pet my cats and plan to conquer the world.
- The best hero from your childhood is… (and why this one?)
Definitely Sailor Moon. A soldier destined to save Earth from the forces of evil. Fighting for love and justice. Having a lot of extraordinary adventures. Doesn’t it sound great? Yep, I was a pretty idealistic child. If I were a man, I would choose Goku as my favourite hero for the same reason.

- Where is your favourite place in Poznań?
All the green ones. Cytadela park, Malta Lake (and others surrounding the city), Żurawiniec reserve, Morasko, Szachty, Dębina park, Botanic Garden...the list could go on. But I may also be found while discovering one of the objects belonging to Poznań Fortress.
- Beer or vodka?
Tasty craft sour IPA, APA or gose. And bourbon from time to time.
- Dog or cat?
Both. I have 2 cats at the moment, but I’ll expand my animal team in the future.
Watching sports? What a strange idea! But playing some… I’m in! So if you ride a motorcycle, enjoy TRX workout or love running - why not to join forces?
- Which website do you visit the most?
www.merixstudio.com :) And a few blogs regarding travelling.
- Favourite app.
As I’m usually on the move, jakdojade, Uber, Nextbike and Google Maps (Osmand/ Maps.me depending on means of transport) make my life much easier.
- The light or dark side?
In everyday life: the light one! (isn't it boring?) I wanted to be Sailor Moon once, so it’s obvious that I’m the warrior of the Light :
In music: the dark side. Or even the black one. I listen to a variety of music genres and try not to limit myself to a given type, but metal will always have a special spot in my heart.
- If you could only visit one website for the rest of your life, what site would that be?
TEDx. I love to hear people who have something of value to say. It’s my source of inspiration.
- If you could have your dream job, what it would be?
Something that will make Earth the better place to live (yep, it sounds a bit like a dream of a top model).
