#beforepandemic, we were known for our work and also for memorable events: Py_tej, Pumex, Front.radar... oh, those were excellent times. However, the time has come to refresh our knowledge-sharing formula and create an entirely new format for a live event. The task was quite a big challenge because many events moved online, and we wondered for a while how to do something extra, which will be an unconventional formula, but also not without a solid dose of knowledge?
This is how "Merix in 20 minutes" was created: an utterly condensed knowledge pill for developers that you can watch and comment live on Merixstudio's YouTube and LinkedIn, and then - fortunately - watch the recording once again. Recruitment hunger: now with new salary ranges :)

We share our knowledge: this time about Employer Branding
We love what we do, and we talk a lot about our work; so why not take advantage of it "after hours" and tell about Merixstudio, our achievements, and patents for being a good employer and... change management in the recruitment process?
At the Poznań edition of EBMASTERS online, events gathering a community of people who are mad about Employer Branding, Marita Szweryn, our IT Recruitment Specialist, had her 5 minutes. Well, not even 5, but over 20, during which she captivated the audience with her speech "Are you recruiting or are you already recruited?" based on examples taken alive from our backyard and from her professional experience.
Always moving forward
Sport at Merixstudio has always meant a lot for us, including the annual participation in the Business Run. Last year the event was held in remote mode, so when someone said: "hey, are we running this year?!" - we began registration. It quickly turned out that four teams consisting of five people each is not enough because the places have spread as fresh rolls, so this year there will be as many as five Merix teams. Please keep your fingers crossed for us; although the run takes place in September, we are already starting training. SLOWLY STARTING :P
Since we have Worksmile, our cafeteria, and a benefits management platform, we can also face team challenges every month: in sport and less-sport competitions. We summed up our April struggle, and you know what? We are very proud of our results:
In April, we registered our activities over 1250 times! Our team spent 805 hours being active and 340 hours reading fantastic books. Do you know that at this time, we could read the whole Middle Earth saga 7 times?
4,679 km - that's our distance in April! Believe it or not, but it's a noteworthy cost. Just about 349 500 calories, so it's like… over 1400 donuts or 1977 kg of tomatoes
