Let’s start with the most recent event - the Boy's Day party, which will be celebrated in Poland on 30th of September. We obviously don't hire teenagers, but our male coworkers deserve some sweetness in their life! In fact, they seem to be rather good this year, since the whole table was filled with a variety of cakes, muffins, and savoury snacks. Now let's go back a day further - last Thursday together with Anita we showed you on our Instagram Story behind the scenes of our work as PR Managers. There even was a mystery to solve and one of our followers won a Merixstudio cup! People watching were able to see how we prepare our monthly newspaper, how we work on our blog and social media, or just have a small banter with our colleagues. Hope it was as much fun for our followers as it was for us!

Saturdays ARE for learning!

It's been a weekend! We took part in PyLadies.start() workshop - a free Python training for those who want to learn to code using this language. This month some of our colleagues were a weekend short. But that doesn't mean that they were deprived of fun since they took part in PyLadies.start() workshop. And they were not mere students, but mentors that thought people the ins and outs of Django! Michał and Rory seemed to enjoy each others company so much that they decided to record their conversations! The Sales Team duo even needed some supervisors to make sure that the video is pitch-perfect - talk about being thorough. ;) Soon you may be able to watch what they've created, but at the moment it's a mystery. It was filled with exciting exhibitions, workshops, and presentations, or at least that's what we were told by Michał, who attended the event. But is there more to it? You know what's great on Sunday? Lying in bed or going for a great brunch with friends. OR maybe it's better to go out for a (not so) short run with your co-workers? Well, since this month was Poland Business Run, the whole running team of our software house chose the latter. There was nothing left for them to do but swap avocado on toast for an isotonic drink and comfy pyjamas for our beautiful running t-shirts. Good job, everyone, you make the rest of us proud (and a bit self-conscious;))!

The whole group was able to experience how easy it is to forget about working together when negotiating . This month Piotrek, one of the newest members of our PM Team, attended the negotiations workshop. He seemed to really enjoy it since he found it necessary to share his knowledge with PM and Sales Teams. No discussions - he made the decision, so they had to come! ;) But joking aside, thanks to the fun exercise the whole group was able to experience how easy it is to forget about working together when negotiating. And isn't their job based on achieving the win-win results?
