I’m pleased to say Merix delivered everything they promised and more. Merix was able to use a very early prototype of our site to quickly grasp our product vision and construct a final design that not only perfectly matched my stylistic preferences, but was also designed to be easily usable by our target customer. When anyone sees our site, the first thing they say is “Wow, this looks amazing!”
As a 15-year veteran of web based applications, I’m understandably picky when it comes to code quality. I was blown away by how easy their HTML and CSS was to work with. The stylesheets were well laid out and easy to understand, no inline styles were used anywhere, and all HTML was nested perfectly (all their code could even be loaded by an XML parser!) Making changes to their code was also incredibly easy, and the code “just worked” when I changed sizings and added new content to the page.
The ability to communicate with Piotr, the project manager, over Skype on a near daily basis was also instrumental in the success of the project. We were able to discuss ideas in real time, and send each other links and mockups as we worked. This sort of communication would be nearly impossible to do over email.
As our website expands and draws in more users demanding more features, I hope to continue our relationship with Merix. At this point, I wouldn’t even bother shopping around with any other design firm.

Our cooperation with Merix started in early autumn 2007. We were interested in building completely new web store for one of our brands - Bronson Vitamins. That was very complex task including full integration with our commerce management and fulfillment systems.
For eight months of that project Merix specialists impressed us with their knowledge and experience of how to build professionally coded high end design web services. The CMS they implemented is great, very easy to use and saves our marketing department a lot of time.

I found Merix website in one of the CSS galleries and decided to do a pilot project with them to check their XHTML/CSS skills. It turned out great and I decided to continue working with them on further projects.

Before I selected a company to design my website, I exhaustively compared the web design firms that bid on my project. Merix was the company I went with based upon their impressive portfolio and their frequent communication with me.
During the initial design process, they asked a fair amount of questions so they could have an idea of what I was looking for in the project. They listened to the feedback that I gave and designed the initial concept immediately. Their first design was so good that very little was changed throughout the course of the project.

I am very happy with the services provided by Merix. They were instrumental in redesigning our website to make it much more visually appealing and functional. They were very patient despite being very enthusiastic to finish the project on time.
