Have you ever wondered who we are and what we do? Are you interested in what we read, what kind of movies we watch, why we play mBlocks or Indian pool (carrom) in our spare time? But don’t you think you want to know a little too much? ;)

Awards

It’s definitely a great feeling when our projects (and what comes with that - hard work involved) are appreciated. We’re proud of the fact that our websites were mentioned in the prestigious and influential Smashing Magazine („The Gradual Disappearance Of Flash Websites”, „30 Fresh and Inspirational Portfolios With A Twist”, „CSS-Based Navigation Menus: Modern Solutions”). We also appeared on Nettuts+, Webdesigner Depot and many renown CSS Galleries such as The CSS Awards (“Site of the Month” award), CSS Beauty, Unmatched Style, Creattica, BestWebGallery, and CSSREMIX.

Web standards

It’s extremely important to create standards compliant websites. Your website should look and work identically in every modern browser, no matter what operating system you use. Following standards allows us to optimize the source code, making the websites load faster and easier to update (which results in lower maintenance costs). It’s worth a mention that we are one of the first companies in Poland that began to develop websites according to W3C guidelines.

Accessibility and usability

The term “accessible website” means more than just visibility in popular search engines. Accessible websites can be easily used by people with disabilities but also by those that prefer less popular web browsers or mobile platforms. Usability denotes how easy and intuitive a website is. Ergonomics and well-thought information architecture are important elements of a successful website. Shortly speaking, we think that your new website has to be usable and fully accessible. Having it designed this way, you will have a greater chance of reaching a wider audience (including the more demanding ones that use modern mobile technologies), having higher ranking in search engines (the way a web crawler indexes information on your pages is similar to how blind people use websites) and also building a positive image of your company.

World of Merix

Our microsite, World of Merix, is one of those internal projects (next to mBlocks) to which we have committed ourselves boundlessly. Countless meetings, drafts, notes, fights, many different visions and finally hundreds of lines of HTML/CSS/JavaScript are only few effects of our work. Final result? Feel free to see by yourself. We recommend browsing it in full screen mode with your favorite tune playing in the background ;)

Drupal CMS

Is there a company that wouldn’t like to have a modern Content Management System (CMS)? We strongly believe that the future of web technology belongs to Open Source. Having this in mind, we focused on the most popular and intuitive CMS which also happens to be license-free. This tool is flexible enough to be used with standard corporate websites, but also in large advanced portals and web applications. Drupal has plenty of other advantages – check out our websites, Drupal Works, to learn more. The fact that such brands as NVidia, Lucas Arts, Mattel, Intel, Fujifilm, Forbes, AT&T, Zappos, BBC Magazines chose Drupal speaks for itself.
