Meet Merix: Dominik - Front-end Developer

Dominik not only has an excellent knowledge of front-end technologies but also is quite a talented sportsman - he won a medal at Great Poland Tennis Championship! There is probably not a single discipline that he is not interested in. Right now he replaced tennis racket with the squash one, and he also won’t miss any match of Lech Poznań (what is expected from someone who is born and raised in Poznań). His love of sport can also be seen in the workplace - he meets every challenge with great enthusiasm and passion. This is probably why he is such a quick learner and why he can find creative solutions to even the most difficult problems. According to my secret sources, Dominik is a fan of Amarena wine (especially the cheapest one) who always uses the university as an excuse to avoid working. But remember, that today is April Fools, so my sources might not be most reliable. One thing is sure - Dominik is a very humble guy that will gladly work with everyone who needs his help. As a PR Team, we were able to confirm that - turns out that he is one of the best article writers in our office. He has not only great knowledge but also can write in a way that everyone can easily understand even the most difficult parts of Front-end Development.

  • Tell us something about yourself.
Hardworking developer with the soul of an athlete.

  • What are your main responsibilities at Merxistudio?
I’m a Front-end Developer. I create templates and applications that work on the browser side.
  • How do you work? What is important to you while working?
I need to have good music in the background. Before starting a new project, I like to know what are the exact requirements. It is also important for me to have a good atmosphere and to be able to brainstorm with my teammates.
  • Tell us something about your beginnings in the company.
I started my work last September. I remember my first day, when I was saying hello to my new coworkers - the amount of names I had to remember was overwhelming. My first task was a small project that tested my abilities and helped me to understand how our Front-end team works. All of course under the watchful eye of Mateusz.
